These Terms of Service govern your use of RubyLou At-Home Learning (“RubyLou”), operated by RubyLou. By using RubyLou, including the sample day preview at /sample-day, you agree to these terms.

Use of the service

RubyLou is provided for the personal educational use of families who choose to engage with the service. You agree to use RubyLou for its intended purpose: exploring, planning, and supporting your family’s home learning.

No automated access or scraping

You may not access, copy, or reuse any part of RubyLou (including sample day content, generated learning plans, and any output surfaced through the RubyLou service) by automated means. This includes scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, or extracting content via bots, scripts, headless browsers, or any technique designed to bypass the intended human-interactive use of the service. Circumvention of rate limits, watermarks, robots directives, or authentication is prohibited. RubyLou content is provided for the personal educational use of the family that requested it and is not licensed for redistribution, republication, or automated processing.

Content ownership

All content generated by RubyLou (including sample days, learning plans, teaching guides, and any output the service surfaces) is provided to you under a personal, non-transferable license for your family’s use. RubyLou retains all rights in the underlying service, methodology, and generated outputs.

No professional advice

RubyLou is a homeschool learning tool. Its outputs are not legal, educational, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for your family’s home learning decisions and for compliance with your state’s homeschool requirements.

Changes to these terms

RubyLou may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be communicated to registered families via email.
